The Chinese manufacturer unveiled the V29 5G model earlier this month and recently introduced the device for the European market. As part of this, promises were made to users regarding updates for the phone.

Two major Android and three-year security patches promise for Vivo V29

During the presentation, Vivo’s product manager, Daniel Goetz, mentioned that the Vivo V29 5G will receive two major Android updates and three years of security patches. It’s worth recalling that the smartphone initially came with Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13 out of the box. The device offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage in this iteration. Furthermore, there is MicroSD card support allowing storage expansion of up to 1 TB.

On the front, there is a 50-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear features a triple-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
