Vivo, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, continues its efforts to increase product variety. In this regard, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to introduce the Vivo V29 5G model, which focuses on price performance, to users in a short period of time. The device has recently received the GCF (Global Certification Forum) certification. So what will the smartphone offer?
Vivo V29 obtains GCF certification; launch coming soon
The Vivo V29, with the model number V2250, appeared in the GCF database. According to this, the smartphone will support the following network bands: n1, n2, n3, n5, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77, and n78. The device has also been seen on certification platforms such as IMDA (Singapore), EEC (Europe), SDPPI (Indonesia), and Bluetooth SIG. Additionally, it recently appeared in the database of the Geekbench benchmark platform.
In the Geekbench tests, the smartphone achieved a score of 1,000 for single-core performance and 2,803 for multi-core performance. Furthermore, it will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. Manufactured using a 6nm fabrication process, it houses 1x 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 (Kryo 670), 3x 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 (Kryo 670), and 4x 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, as well as the Adreno 642L graphics unit. The device will feature 8GB of RAM and run on the Android 13 operating system. Lastly, the model’s launch is scheduled for July.

- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 695.
- RAM: 8GB RAM + 8GB Virtual RAM.
- Storage: 128GB internal storage.
- Front Camera: 16-megapixel camera.
- Rear Camera: a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support, 2-megapixel bokeh lens, and 2-megapixel macro sensor.
- Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
