Vivo x Fold 3 to Be the First Foldable Phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
The countdown has begun for Vivo’s foldable smartphone. New details have emerged about the device, which has been the subject of many leaks. According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo x Fold 3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, making it the first foldable device to use this processor.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, manufactured with 4 nm technology, includes 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The new chip from the company features the Ray Tracing supported Adreno 750 GPU.
Leaked information also includes the design of the vivo model. According to the visuals, the device will feature an oval island with three cameras and a Zeiss logo. It will have a 50 Megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 50 Megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64 Megapixel periscope lens accompanying the telephoto camera.
Previous information suggests that Vivo’s new model will support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Housing a 5700 mAh battery, the device is expected to reach full charge in minutes. Additionally, it will feature UD fingerprint scanners on both panels.
