The foldable phone race in the Android market continues to become more and more different every day. In the past months, vivo aims to increase its share in this market while gathering interest again with the triple foldable phone. vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro models introduced this year, the company allegedly postponed the introduction of the X Fold 4 device. vivo X Fold 4 will be introduced with Snapdragon 8 Elite
It is claimed that the Fold 4 model, some of the features of which were also leaked, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite announced last month on the processor side. With the shares made by popular analyst Digital Chat Station, details for vivo’s expected foldable device have emerged.
It is stated that the company, which is working on new standards for X Fold 4, is working on a slim design, will put a 6,000mAh battery in the phone and will offer support for wireless charging. In addition, the device will have IPX8 certification for water resistance.
As with the Fold 4 Pro, the X Fold 4 will feature ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, 3x periscope telephoto, one wide-angle, and one standard 50-megapixel camera. Moreover, a three-stage pressure-sensitive key will be offered as a first for vivo phones.
According to leaks, vivo X Fold 4 will be the only device to be introduced and there will be no Pro model. While the phone, which will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, was previously said to be introduced in the first quarter of 2025, it was stated that this date was postponed to the second quarter with new leaks.
