Vivo X200T surfaces online, hints at performance-focused X200 variant

Vivo might have moved on to the X300 series on paper, but the X200 lineup isn’t quite finished. A seventh model, the Vivo X200T, has quietly made an appearance in the GSMA IMEI database, suggesting the series still has unfinished business and possibly a new angle.

The Vivo X200 series kicked off back in October 2024 with three models: the base X200, the X200 Pro, and the smaller X200 Pro Mini. It expanded steadily across 2025 with the X200 Ultra, X200s, and X200 FE.

Now, the X200T has emerged carrying the model number “V2561,” as spotted by SmartPrix. That makes it the seventh device in the lineup, a move that’s raising eyebrows given Vivo’s recent focus on the next-gen X300 series.

The “T” designation has triggered plenty of speculation, with fans guessing it stands for “Turbo.” While Vivo hasn’t confirmed anything yet, that interpretation could point to a device that dials back the camera bells and whistles in favor of speed and raw performance.

If that’s true, the X200T might land as a gaming-centric or performance-first model something that fills a gap in the X200 lineup, which has largely emphasized camera tech and design.

The listing in the GSMA IMEI database is more than a mere leak, it usually signals intent to ship globally. While Chinese-only Vivo models don’t always appear in the global database, the X200T’s inclusion suggests an international release is likely.

Here’s the full Vivo X200 roster so far:

If the X200T does focus on speed over sensors, it could offer a sharp contrast to the X300’s early focus on photography innovation. It also wouldn’t be the first time Vivo has overlapped its series especially when squeezing out one last variant aimed at a specific crowd.

For now, the X200T’s debut date remains under wraps. But based on database appearances alone, it likely won’t be long before this mystery model officially breaks cover.
