The Vivo X300 series now has an official launch date, and the company isn’t being shy about what’s coming. These new flagships, powered by the Dimensity 9500 chip, will debut in China on October 13, just weeks after Xiaomi’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones.
Vivo X300 series to feature Dimensity 9500 and Pro model
With this launch, Vivo becomes the first to ship phones with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, a direct rival to Qualcomm’s latest. Early benchmarks suggest Qualcomm still holds a slight performance lead, but MediaTek’s scores are usually close behind once phones hit the market.

According to reliable Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station, this series introduces some of the most advanced camera hardware in any phone so far:
- Sony LYT 828 main sensor (1/1.28″, 50 MP, Hybrid Frame HDR)
- 200 MP Samsung HP8 periscope lens
- Sony LYT 602 periscope sensor
Together, these upgrades aim to leap past the last-gen Vivo flagships in mobile photography.
