According to leaks, the Y36 4G model will feature the Snapdragon 680 processor produced by Qualcomm. The 6nm processor contains 4 Cortex-A73 (2.4 GHz) and 4 Cortex-A53 (1.9GHz) cores. The graphics interface of the processor includes the Adreno 610 at 1.1GHz.
In the 5G version of the series, the Dimensity 7020 processor produced by MediaTek will be used. The Dimensity 7020 model includes 2 ARM Cortex-A78 (2.2GHz) and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 (2.0GHz) cores. The graphics interface of the processor, which is produced with TSMC N6 technology, includes IMG BXM-8-256. It is said that both devices will have the same screen specifications. Vivo will include a FullHD Plus IPS screen with a size of 6.64 inches in the Y36 family.
The device, which is said to be introduced with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, will also offer microSD card support. It should be noted that the Y36 series also includes virtual RAM support of 8 GB, which is frequently seen in mid-range devices.
The models to be introduced with dual camera setup will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. A 16-megapixel lens will be included in the front-facing camera.
The Vivo Y36 4G model will be released in the European market with a price tag of 211 euros.
