After launching the V40e model in recent weeks, vivo quickly started working on follow-up models. According to reliable industry sources, the Chinese manufacturer has made significant progress with its new smartphones, the vivo V50 and V50e.
vivo V50 and V50e appeared in IMEI database
As reported by Smartprix, known for its credible leaks, the upcoming vivo V50 and V50e models have appeared in the IMEI database. The smartphones, identified with model numbers V2427 and V2428, currently have no detailed information regarding their technical specifications or design.
Although only two models have appeared in the IMEI database so far, the source notes that the number of models may increase in the future. In the V40 series, we saw several versions, including the V40, V40 Pro, V40e, V40 Lite, and V40 SE, so a similar scenario is likely for the V50 lineup.
As of now, there is no confirmed launch date for the vivo V50 series. However, based on the company’s past release schedules, some predictions can be made. The vivo V30 was launched in February 2024, followed by the V40 in June 2024. Therefore, it is likely that the vivo V50 series will be unveiled in February 2025.
