The most alarming feature of this dangerous software is its ability to drain up to $16,000 from your account in a single transaction. Since these transactions occur using your banking app, they are hard to detect. Even if you notice the transactions immediately, reversing them may be nearly impossible after a suspicious activity alert.
BingoMod camouflages itself under names like WebInfo, WebSecurity, APKAppScudo, and in some cases, even replaces trusted antivirus apps like AVG. Therefore, it is strongly advised not to click on suspicious links or download unknown apps.
