The highly anticipated Season 6 update for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare is scheduled to release on September 18. While development has shifted focus towards the integration of Black Ops 6 content later this year, this patch still brings meaningful changes for the free-to-play battle royale title.
Warzone Season 6 update
PC players will be able to pre-load the update starting today through Battle.net to ensure a smooth launch. PlayStation users will have the option to pre-load 1-2 hours before the 9am PT/5pm BST release time.
Exact patch notes will be posted one hour prior to season start on the Call of Duty blog. Based on previous updates, some expected adjustments include:
- Weapon balancing tweaks – The developers will aim to refine the meta and adjust any over/under-performing weapons.
