Apple released macOS Sonoma 14.3 as part of an update the other day. This update brings new features and bug fixes to Macs and is the third major release of the new system.
macOS Sonoma 14.3 release notes
The new macOS Sonoma 14.3 update focuses on improvements to the Apple Music experience with the addition of collaborative playlists. Collaborative playlists allow Apple Music subscribers to invite friends and family members to create playlists.
Users will be able to add, reorder and remove songs from shared playlists. It will also be possible to react to any song in a shared playlist with an emoji.
Another new feature in Sonoma 14.3 is an overhauled AppleCare & Warranty section of System Settings. From this menu, users will be able to view warranty and support coverage for all Apple devices they sign in to with their Apple ID.
“Sonoma 14.3 includes improvements to Apple Music, as well as other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac,” Apple said in the update notes.
Here are the macOS Sonoma 14.3 release notes:
- Collaborating on playlists in Apple Music lets you invite friends to join your playlist, and anyone can add, reorder, and remove songs.
- Emoji reactions can be added to any track in a collaborative playlist in Apple Music.
- AppleCare and Warranty in Settings shows your coverage for all devices you sign in to with your Apple ID.
The Sonoma 14.3 update is now available for download under System Preferences > Software Update. Apple has also released macOS Ventura 13.6.4 and macOS Monterey 12.7.3 for devices running older versions.
