Ana sayfa / Technology

Things are not going well at OpenAI, which made a name for itself last year by releasing the popular artificial intelligence robot ChatGPT. Recently, the CEO of the company, Sam Altman, was removed from his position, and Emmett Shear, the former CEO of Twitch, was appointed in his place. Following Altman’s departure, OpenAI faced backlash from its employees, and another significant development has now occurred for the company. It was announced today by Microsoft that the founders of OpenAI, Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, will join Microsoft.

Satya Nadella, who is both a major investor in OpenAI and the CEO of Microsoft, recently announced that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman will join Microsoft to lead an advanced artificial intelligence research team. Nadella also spoke highly of the new CEO of OpenAI, Emmett Shear, stating that these changes will not harm their partnerships with OpenAI.

“We remain committed to our partnership with OpenAI and have confidence in our ability to continue innovating with our product roadmap, as announced at Microsoft Ignite, and to continue supporting our customers and business partners. We look forward to getting to know and working with Emmett Shear and OAI’s new leadership team. We are excited to share the news that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman will be joining Microsoft to lead a new, advanced artificial intelligence research team, along with their colleagues. We are eager to quickly move to provide them with the resources they need for their success.”

No further statement has been released from Microsoft at this time. It is expected that both executives will join Microsoft and start their roles as soon as possible. Sam Altman wasted no time responding to Satya Nadella’s announcement, replying with “The mission continues.
