WhatsApp continues to develop new features. This time it is on the agenda with two different features that will be available soon. The first of the features on the way for WhatsApp allows you to block people directly via notification. The other feature separates camera modes for photos and videos.
WhatsApp will separate camera modes for photos and videos
The first feature, which will be available soon, can only be used to block messages from unregistered people. In other words, to explain in more detail, if someone you don’t know sends you a message, you will be able to block this person directly through the notification of the message they sent. WhatsApp will also offer separate camera modes for photos and videos in the coming period.
Currently, as you know, the “tap for photo, hold for video” infrastructure is used. Taking photos in this infrastructure is not a problem, but taking videos can sometimes be troublesome. In this respect, it makes sense to use separate menus for photos and videos.
A message deletion-oriented feature was recently introduced for WhatsApp. For a long time, the platform has allowed people to delete messages sent from themselves or the person they sent. However, there was a very common problem in this process. If you accidentally delete a message from yourself while trying to delete it from the other person, you cannot delete this message from the other person again. To change this, the company was developing an “Undo” button for the “Delete From Me” system. This feature has been available for Android and iPhone in recent weeks.
Thanks to this feature, you can delete a message that you accidentally deleted from yourself from the other side by undoing it from the menu that will be open for a short time. As far as it is said, this feature will not work for messages deleted from the other person. In other words, messages deleted from the other user will not be retrieved. This useful infrastructure, which has been developed for a long time and has been tested by some beta users for a while, has pleased many users.
