Instagram Feature Spotted in WhatsApp Beta!
WhatsApp, the popular messaging app in the Meta family, is getting ready to offer users a brand-new experience. One of the most loved features from Instagram Stories, music sharing, will soon be available in WhatsApp Status updates as well.
According to WABetaInfo, this feature was spotted in WhatsApp’s Android 2.24.22.11 beta version, and the music addition feature to Status updates is coming soon. With this new feature, users will be able to search for and add their favorite songs to their Status through the ‘Music’ button that will appear on the sharing screen.
The new feature will be introduced with a special music button integrated into the Status update screen.
Through this button, users will be able to access the following features:
- You can search for songs and artists.
- The selected music can be added to the Status update.
- Posts will become more interactive.
Most likely, Instagram’s music library will be utilized when this feature is made available. This means that users will have access to the music archive available on Instagram, directly from WhatsApp.
This update is a new step in Meta’s strategy to strengthen integration between its apps. Bringing Instagram’s popular music feature to WhatsApp will enrich the user experience while also increasing cross-platform interaction.
