WhatsApp is known for severely degrading the quality of photos and videos. This has been a long-standing problem for users of the app, but the app has finally added the option to share HD versions of photos and videos. However, the way this option works is quite inconvenient for users. WhatsApp high quality photos
WhatsApp can make sending high quality photos the default instead of manual selection
In the current system, users have to manually select the HD option every time they want to share photos and videos. But that may soon change, as it has been revealed that WhatsApp is working on the ability to share higher quality versions of photos and videos by default.
It’s unclear when the feature, which will make it easier to send high-quality photos and videos, will come to the app. New features are being added to the beta version of WhatsApp before the stable release, but the option to set the default media upload quality is not yet ready for open beta testing.
It is also not yet known whether WhatsApp will allow sending photos and videos in their original quality. While the HD quality setting increases resolution and quality over the standard quality setting, currently the only way to send photos and videos in their original quality is to share them as documents.
Once WhatsApp makes it even easier to share high-quality photos, it seems that users will no longer have to worry about photos. Do you think this feature is necessary? What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
