WhatsApp has released a comprehensive update that touches almost every area of the app with a series of new features that deeply affect the user experience. With changes made to many functions from chats to calls, channels to status updates, the messaging app is becoming more visual, more interactive and more personalized.

One of the most striking innovations made in the Chat tab is that emojis are now animated. This update adds a stronger emotional expression to messages and allows for a more dynamic language to be established in communication. Users can also create special animated stickers using their own videos.
Avatar-based social stickers can only be shared between people who are registered in their contacts and who use avatars. This limitation adds another layer of privacy and ensures that avatar interactions are limited to meaningful people.
The group creation process has also been redesigned. Users can now create a group on their own and then add participants with invitation links. This structure makes the process easier, especially for users who want to create temporary groups for planning or content sharing.
A significant change has also been made in the multimedia messaging area. When multiple photos or videos are sent, a description can now be added to them collectively. Recipients can respond to both the entire media collection and individual images, or add emoji reactions.
A new system has been activated in the Search tab that facilitates access to the past. Users can now review previous searches, easily share these searches, and start new searches with a single tap.
Six new filters and six different effects have also been added to video calls. These updates, where visual interaction has become more creative, offer a dynamic experience that is expected to be popular especially among young users.
The Updates tab was not overlooked either. Visual content can now be added to surveys conducted in channels. In this way, followers’ interaction is not limited to text. In addition, users can easily access channel content they care about by adding stars to it.
