WhatsApp is getting ready to launch a new feature!

Ana sayfa / News

WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will make it easier for users to log out of the app. In the new WhatsApp 2.25.17.37 beta version, a new option called “Log Out” allows users to log out of the app without deleting their account data and preferences.

As of now, the only way to log out of WhatsApp’s mobile app is to delete the app data on Android devices or completely uninstall the app on iOS. On the other hand, the logout button, which is clearly located under the user profile on the desktop and web versions, makes this process much simpler. With the new feature, mobile users will have a similar ease.

The logout button in the beta version is located just below the account deletion option in WhatsApp’s user settings menu. There are two different options here: “Delete all data and preferences” and “Keep all data and preferences.”

The first option deletes all user data and settings for those who want to reset the app. The second option is designed for users who want to take a short break or do not have a dual SIM device. When this option is used, the user account will continue where it left off when logging back in.

This feature is still in development. It is not yet clear when this feature will be available to the general public or whether it will be available on both Android and iOS platforms at the same time.
