Samsung, which aims to offer firsts in the smartphone industry, is now preparing to come out with a completely different product. With its rollable screen smartphone planned to be released in 2025, the company will introduce a new technology to users after the foldable screen revolution. Here are the details of the device…
Samsung may introduce a rollable smartphone in 2025
The new device developed by Samsung will stand out with its 12.4-inch foldable screen. This size is very close to the screen size of many laptops currently on the market. For example, while foldable phones like the Huawei Mate X T offer 10.2-inch screens, this device literally raises the bar in screen size.
Samsung’s current largest foldable phone, like the Z Fold6, comes with a 7.6-inch screen, so the new rollable phone will be far ahead of those devices with its screen size. Also, this phone doesn’t just come with a screen, it also comes with an under-display camera technology. That is, it will come with a camera hidden under the screen.
Samsung was the first brand to bring foldable phones to the mainstream market. With this success, it is thought that phones with rollable screens will also be quickly accepted in the consumer market. Especially with Apple expected to introduce foldable phone technology only in 2026, Samsung can turn this advantage to its advantage.
