Apple is gearing up for the release of the full versions of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, following the launch of their general beta versions. So, when will iOS 18.1, which brings the highly anticipated Apple Intelligence AI features, be released?
When will iOS 18.1 be released?
Apple analyst Mark Gurman has stated that the much-anticipated stable iOS 18.1 update will be available on October 28. The new version is expected to introduce several Apple Intelligence features for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series, allowing users to enjoy a smarter and more personalized iPhone experience.
As mentioned before, Apple Intelligence features will be gradually rolled out to compatible iPhone models. In the first phase, AI features such as text rewriting, summarization, object removal from images, and a new Siri user interface will be available. More comprehensive features, like ChatGPT integration, will take a bit longer.
The ChatGPT support is planned to come with iOS 18.2, expected to be released in December. Additionally, this version may also introduce Image Playground and Genmoji, which will allow users to create custom emojis.
Given these features, users might wonder how much storage Apple Intelligence will take up on iPhones. According to a report by 9to5mac shared a few weeks ago, iPhones will initially require 4 GB of storage, and with the addition of more features, this could expand to up to 8 GB.
What do you think about this? Do you believe Apple will achieve its desired success in the AI field with Apple Intelligence? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
