M4-powered MacBook Pro and more to be introduced this month
While it’s not officially announced yet, Apple is expected to unveil new Mac models later this month. The MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac will come with the M4 chip. If you’re waiting for these models, you won’t have to wait much longer. While major changes aren’t expected for the MacBook Pro, the Mac mini will feature a smaller design.
M4 MacBook Air pushed to next spring
Apple’s most popular MacBook Air model, known for its M3 chip, will also receive an update with the M4 processor. The M4-powered MacBook Air is expected to be released in spring 2025, available in 13-inch and 15-inch versions, as before.
M4-powered Mac Studio and Mac Pro expected by summer
The most powerful M4 Mac models are expected to be unveiled mid-year, as usual. The M4 Mac Studio and Mac Pro desktop models are anticipated to launch in the summer of 2025, potentially featuring the first M4 Ultra chip.
If Apple follows this timeline, we may see the M4 chip in all Mac models. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
