Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra model, which will be released early next year, managed to leave the iPhone 25 Pro model behind in the performance test. The high-end phone, which will be equipped with the Galaxy for Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, surpassed Apple’s recently announced flagship in performance comparison. Here are the details…
Galaxy S25 Ultra beats its rival in tests
The 6 cores of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy ran at 3.53 GHz, up from 2.78 GHz in recent tests. The two ultra-high-performance cores clocked in at 4.47 GHz, compared to 4.09 GHz in the previous test.
Now, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s flagship processor achieved a higher score than in previous tests. The device managed to improve from 3,096 points in single core and 9,080 points in multi-core to 3,011 and 9,706 respectively.
By comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra even managed to outperform the iPhone 25 Pro, which scored only 8,300 points on Geekbench in the multi-core test. But Apple’s top-end phone still came out on top in the single-core test, scoring 3,400 points.
In addition to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, One UI 7.1, which is expected to be released with the new series early next year, is still under development. So it is thought that the device will receive more optimisation to improve its performance until then.
