Best Camera Smartphones – April 2025
Despite being blacklisted by the United States in 2019, Huawei still tops the DxOMark camera rankings. The Chinese brand’s Pura 70 Ultra model ranks first with an average score of 163 across categories like photography, zoom, and video. It is followed by the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, which scored 158 points.
One of the most surprising entries on the list is the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Despite its powerful camera setup, Samsung’s latest flagship only managed 146 points in DxOMark’s tests, placing it at 29th. Meanwhile, Google’s newly released Pixel 9a debuted at 33rd on the list.
