Which Samsung models will receive the One UI 8 beta update?

Ana sayfa / Smartphones

The Android 16-based operating system version is expected to bring significant new features to many Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

As with previous versions, Samsung will offer a beta program for One UI 8, limited to specific Galaxy devices and regions. This program allows users to test new features before the stable release. Beta testing is expected to begin either this month or by June at the latest. However, which devices will be supported is currently unknown.

According to reliable sources, the beta program will start with the Galaxy S25 series. Internal testing of One UI 8, which the company has been working on for a long time, has been conducted on devices such as the Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 5. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean all of these devices will be included in the beta process.

Currently, only the Samsung Galaxy S25 series has One UI 8 beta firmware. It’s likely that the initial phase of the beta process will be limited to this series. The Galaxy S25 Edge model might also be included. Looking at Samsung’s previous approach, the One UI 7 beta program remained exclusive to the Galaxy S24 series for quite some time.
