Tim Cook Explains Why You Should Get the iPhone 16
Apple Intelligence can change the tone of your emails or messages using AI. However, this feature requires a minimum of 8GB of RAM. Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max support this feature.
In the iPhone 16 series, all models (iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max) will come with 8GB of RAM. Tim Cook states that all the innovations brought by Apple Intelligence will work on the 2024 iPhone models.
Tim Cook emphasizes the high value offered by Apple Intelligence and believes this will lead users to upgrade to the new models. “We’re very excited about the level of value we’re delivering with Apple Intelligence, and we believe it provides a compelling reason for users to upgrade,” he says.
So, what’s new in the iPhone 16 series?
- Larger Display: The screens on the Pro models are getting bigger. The iPhone 16 Pro’s screen will increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s screen will go from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches.
- Improved Camera: The Pro models will feature the Tetraprism periscope lens introduced last year on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, offering 5x optical zoom. They will also have a 48MP ultra-wide camera.
- New Processor: The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be powered by a second-generation 3nm processor (A18 Pro) produced by TSMC. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will have the A18 AP processor.
- New Button: All 2024 iPhone models will feature a new Capture button, allowing users to zoom or take photos.
- Action Button: The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will include the Action button found on the iPhone 15 Pro series.
