Ana sayfa / Internet

Wi-Fi 7, the latest standard for wireless networks, has been finalized and is expected to be released. The Wi-Fi Alliance has confirmed that Wi-Fi 7, based on IEEE 802.11be technology, will complete its final stages of preparation and when it is expected to be officially launched.

Wi-Fi 7 is set to bring a significant leap in network speeds compared to its predecessor Wi-Fi 6. Devices supporting Wi-Fi 7 are already available for purchase, but the official release will enable users to fully utilize the untapped potential in their Wi-Fi adapters.

The Wi-Fi Alliance emphasizes that Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7 will ensure worldwide interoperability and unlock improved Wi-Fi performance for the next generation of connected devices.

TikTok broke new ground with its in-app spending

TikTok, the world's largest short video platform, once again attracted attention with its total in-app spending amount.

One of the highlights of Wi-Fi 7 is its extraordinary top speed of 40Gbps, a significant improvement compared to Wi-Fi 6’s maximum speed of 9.6Gbps. This increase is achieved by the inclusion of a new 6GHz frequency band, complementing the familiar 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The introduction of this additional frequency band enables Wi-Fi 7 to deliver significantly faster speeds, reportedly 4.8 times faster than Wi-Fi 6.

It’s important to note that users with devices that already support Wi-Fi 7 are using a ‘draft’ version of the standard. However, this will not significantly affect performance for home use. Devices with draft versions will receive firmware updates to align with the final standard to ensure a smooth transition to all the features of Wi-Fi 7.
