Will the PC version of Resident Evil 9 be optimized?

Ana sayfa / News

Capcom is making a special effort to ensure that the highly anticipated Resident Evil 9 PC version will not experience performance issues on its release day. The renowned game studio has assured that past technical issues will not be repeated in the new project.

Gaming giant Capcom has recently received some criticism for its PC optimization. Games like Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds, in particular, experienced technical issues during their launches. Therefore, the company is reluctant to take any chances with its next major project.

Capcom management made important statements during its 45th General Meeting of Shareholders. Company officials emphasized that the PC platform is now one of its primary focuses. They also stated that they have learned from past mistakes.

The RE Engine is generally known for its high performance. However, recent open-world games have been plagued by issues such as processor bottlenecks. Capcom is working intensively to address this.

The company aims for PC versions of new games to be on par with their console versions. In this regard, optimization tests have been rigorous since the beginning of development. Players can now expect a smoother experience on release day.

However, only time will tell whether Capcom will keep this promise. Nevertheless, the fact that the studio is aware of the issue and is working to find a solution is considered a promising development for players.
