Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Süleyman made a clear statement regarding Microsoft’s erotic AI services. At a summit he attended in California, Süleyman stated that they would not offer such services and that other companies would develop them.
Microsoft Will Not Enter the Erotic AI Field
Speaking at the Paley International Council Summit in California, Mustafa Süleyman made clear statements on the matter. Süleyman said, “Erotic AI services are not something we will offer. Other companies will develop them.”
This issue was previously raised by Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, the company that developed ChatGPT. In a statement on X, Altman stated that they would adopt the principle of “treating adult users like adults” with the age verification system that will be implemented in December.
He announced that this principle would provide verified adult users with greater freedom of interaction, including erotic content.
After his initial statement, Sam Altman unexpectedly focused on the “erotic content” section, and then shared a new post. He stated that the main goal is to give ChatGPT a “personal” style similar to the “4o” model.
Altman also emphasized that erotic content is just one example, that safety for young users will remain a priority, and that mental health policies will not be relaxed. He stated that the primary goal is for people to be able to use AI as they wish.
