Towards the end of 2021, Microsoft unveiled its new operating system, Windows 11. This version brought a number of important innovations and useful features are still being added. In this context, an artificial intelligence-powered feature called Copilot was recently launched.

Copilot, which was rumored to be exclusive to Windows 11, is finally coming to Windows 10 after long expectations. So what exactly does Copilot do and when will it be available for the lower version? Here’s what you need to know…

Copilot, which can be launched by clicking an icon on the taskbar, is an artificial intelligence tool that helps you use Windows features via command. For example, you can ask it to switch Windows to a dark theme or suggest a song to help you focus on your work. You can also ask it to organize windows or open an app.

Copilot, which has been a hit with Windows 11 users, is now available via update to Windows 10 (version 22H2) users in Microsoft’s Windows Insider program. It is not yet known when it will be available to the general public.
