Microsoft has officially announced an exciting package of Windows 11 new features designed to enhance the experience for its more than one billion users. Key additions include an integrated internet speed test, advanced MIDI 2.0 support, and new security tools.

Furthermore, a major step forward is being taken for musicians and audio professionals. The system will now support both MIDI 1.0 and MIDI 2.0 standards through the Windows MIDI Services. Microsoft states that it has completely revamped the infrastructure to provide this support and maximize the performance of existing MIDI 1.0 devices.

In addition to these functional updates, there are also improvements in visuals and personalization. The update will add the Emoji 16.0 package to the system, and users will now be able to set popular “webp” format images directly as their desktop background. This offers a more modern and efficient visual experience.

With this new update, Microsoft is focusing not only on ease of use but also on security and system performance. In this context, Sysmon, an advanced tool used for malware detection and security analysis, is being integrated directly into the operating system. This integration will allow for more proactive management of system security.

Additionally, another feature targeting professional users is the activation of the Quick Machine Recovery (QMR) system by default on Windows Professional devices. This feature promises a faster and more effective recovery process in the event of potential system issues.
