According to the information shared by Microsoft, starting from October 10, 2023, the 21H2 version of Windows 11 will no longer receive security updates. Users who wish to receive security support will need to upgrade to a higher version of Windows 11.

The reasons behind Microsoft’s unexpected decision are unknown. However, considering that the company has been consistently notifying Windows 10 users to transition to Windows 11, this could be a measure to accelerate the adoption of newer versions.
