Ana sayfa / News

With the latest Windows 11 update, Microsoft is offering users the ability to extend battery life and customize power management settings. The newly released Build 27686 not only brings performance improvements but also introduces innovations to prolong battery life. Here are the details…

One of the most significant new features in the latest Windows 11 update is the ability to set customized power modes for different power conditions. This means you can select the “Best Performance” mode when using your device while plugged in and switch to “Best Power Efficiency” mode when on battery.

This feature is especially advantageous for laptop users. You can get full performance when gaming or working on demanding tasks while plugged in and then extend your battery life when unplugged. You can easily access these new customization options by going to Settings > System > Power & Battery.

Additionally, Microsoft has made some improvements to the user interface, making it faster and easier to adjust power settings. The new Windows 11 update isn’t limited to power mode customization. Microsoft has also made various enhancements to features like HDR, FAT32 support, and Windows Sandbox.

In particular, HDR support ensures that high dynamic range content appears more vibrant and realistic, while FAT32 improvements enhance file system performance. Microsoft is also encouraging users to share their experiences as feedback. If the new power modes don’t meet your expectations or if you notice an unexpected drop in battery life, you can report this to Microsoft through the feedback center.

What do you think about this new customizable power mode? Will this update extend your device’s battery life? How do you optimize your power management settings? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
