Microsoft has released a new Beta update for Windows 11 users. The update includes a number of important innovations, as well as some improvements. The update, presented with the code Windows 11 Build 22635.4082, brought notable changes, especially the music player panel on the lock screen.
Music player panel comes to lock screen with Windows 11 update
First, the lock screen is now more functional for users listening to music. When music is playing, media playback controls are displayed at the bottom center of the lock screen. This means users can now easily control their music without leaving the lock screen.
There are also a number of innovations regarding notifications. Now, users can easily disable notifications from specific applications. You can do this by clicking on the three-dot icon next to the notification, or you can turn off the applications that send notifications directly from the “ Settings > System > Notifications ” menu.
Microsoft also redesigned the page located in the “ Settings > Windows Update > Advanced Options > Delivery Optimization ” section of Windows 11. The new design was designed in accordance with the modern aesthetics of Windows 11. A more visually harmonious and user-friendly interface was presented.
The new update also includes fixes for some bugs that negatively impacted system performance. In particular, explorer.exe crashes when closing an application from the taskbar and memory leaks caused by certain notifications have been resolved.
