Microsoft continues to enhance its artificial intelligence assistant, Copilot, for Windows 11. Recently, the company announced new capabilities with a recent update to Windows 11.
The new capabilities of Windows Copilot
Copilot initially had basic functionalities such as changing themes, enabling or disabling focus assist mode, taking screenshots, closing windows, and launching applications. Fortunately, the range of functions has expanded.
With the recent Preview Build 26058 update released for test users, Microsoft introduced new capabilities for Copilot. According to the update notes, the artificial intelligence assistant can now perform tasks such as listing wireless networks, displaying system information, providing battery status, listing startup applications, and showing the IP address.
Additionally, the ability to change text size, enable high contrast mode, initiate voice typing, and activate narrator has been shared.
The new capabilities for Windows Copilot with the latest update include:
