World of Warcraft: Midnight now has a launch date: March 2, 2026. Even better, pre-purchasers get early access to the long-awaited player housing system starting December 2, 2025.
Player housing in World of Warcraft: Midnight unlocks early
Blizzard is finally rolling out player housing, and it starts ahead of schedule. Players who pre-purchase any edition of World of Warcraft: Midnight will be granted early entry through “The Warning” prologue patch.
Housing gives players the chance to claim their own space in Azeroth. You can decorate both interior and exterior using décor from achievements, quests, crafting, or premium currency. The first set of housing styles includes:
- Classic Orc
- Human
- Blood Elf
- Night Elf
An advanced mode lets you rotate, scale, and recolor furnishings giving players near-total control over their homes.
New features reshape the expansion experience
Beyond housing, this expansion introduces the Haranir, a new jungle-elf race. They arrive with the “Prey” system, which puts players into predator-or-prey roles for dynamic PvPvE bounties.
Silvermoon City is also getting a full redesign. It’s not a texture upgrade, it’s a modern rebuild using WoW’s current engine for faster loading and smoother traversal.
