Social media platform X has made a significant change to its corporate-approved account system, offered to businesses and government agencies. The company has divided its subscription model into two new categories: Premium Business and Premium Organizations. This new structure is designed to support business growth on the platform and enhance the credibility of institutions.
In the new system, Premium Business subscribers will be represented by a gold-colored approval badge. This package appeals to a wide range of users, from small businesses to global brands. Premium Organizations, with its gray checkmark, is specifically designed for public institutions and international organizations.
X Premium Business Offers New Tools for Businesses
X announced that its Premium Business plan will increase brands’ visibility on the platform and help them build stronger engagement with users. This subscription system will be offered at three different levels: Basic, Full Access, and Enterprise.
The Basic package offers basic identity verification features for a monthly fee of 6,936 TL. The Full Access package, for 22,920 TL, offers users fast support, advanced protection against fake accounts, priority usernames, linked account management, and early access to new features. The Enterprise tier will be available at a special price and equipped with advanced management tools.
X is preparing to offer new benefits to its Premium Business subscribers. The platform announced that these subscribers will be able to take advantage of additional tools such as recruiting processes, brand tracking, industry analysis, and access to SuperGrok. The company also announced that it will refund the entire amount paid to subscribers as advertising credits during a short-term campaign.
The upcoming “priority usernames” system aims to strengthen businesses’ position on the platform. Under this system, some usernames that have been inactive for a while will be allocated free of charge to Premium Business subscribers. Rare and higher-value usernames will be available for purchase for a fee.
The new Premium subscription tiers are part of X’s strategy to diversify its revenue model. The company is implementing the new structure to offset fluctuations in advertising revenue and offer businesses more attractive opportunities.
Seth Fuchs of the X Engineering Team stated in a statement that the platform was developed with the goal of “increasing the impact of organizations and enabling them to interact directly with users.”
