Xiaomi 13 Lite is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1
The Chinese company launched a new, more affordable device than the standard and 13 Pro models. The new Xiaomi 13 Lite comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The brand claims that the chipset offers 20% more GPU and 30% more AI performance compared to the 12 Lite model. However, the new device features the same LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 systems.
While the 13 Lite is available in two options, 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, it runs MIUI 14 out of the box, but the Android 12 version. On the display, the device has a curved 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. Also, it has a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The most distinctive feature of this device is its camera system. On the front, the 13 Lite has a dual 32-megapixel and an 8-megapixel depth sensor. On the back, it has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging support, there is no wireless charging, unfortunately. The new mid-range device is available in Lite Blue, Lite Pink, and Black color options. It will be available on March 8, starting at €499 for the 8/128GB version.
