Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes with a perfect lens by Leica
First, we saw Xiaomi and Leica’s cooperation on the Xiaomi 13 series, and now the company confirmed the Leica partnership will continue for the new Ultra model. According to the announcements on Weibo and Twitter, the new device will feature a unique and first-in-the-world camera system with a new Summicron lens.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra was revealed with model number 2304FPN6DG by the IMDA, the communications regulator of Singapore. According to the published list, the 13 Ultra will have 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. We can understand that the device will fit into the global smartphone market with great specifications.
Leica and Xiaomi announced, “This time, together we have brought the latest optical system solution for mobile imaging that has never been seen before as well as the most perfect Summicron lens ever created in the field of mobile imaging.”
The upcoming Ultra device is expected to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support, a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED LTPO display, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and an improved unique camera system with four 50-megapixel cameras.
