Xiaomi 15 Series Features Set to Intimidate Rivals
As with every year, Xiaomi is expected to introduce its new flagship series in October. With three months to go before the official unveiling of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, their features have already been leaked. These devices are poised to be the first in the world to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, and their other specs are also impressive.
According to reports, the Xiaomi 15 will feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The standard model will come with either a 4,800mAh or 4,900mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Pro model, on the other hand, will have a 5,400mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging support.
In terms of display, the Xiaomi 15 will sport a 6.36-inch flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, while the 15 Pro will feature a larger 6.73-inch OLED display with 2K resolution. Both models will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 1400 nits.
The Xiaomi 15 series will come with a 32-megapixel front camera. The standard model will house a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H sensor for the main and ultra-wide-angle cameras, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 telephoto camera. The Pro model will feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50N main camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
