The Xiaomi 15 series is set to debut in China in the coming months. Recent leaks have revealed the technical specifications of the Xiaomi 15 model. It is expected to be one of the first models powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
Xiaomi 15 Features: 1.5K Display, 50 Megapixel Camera, and More
According to the leaks, the Xiaomi 15 will feature a flat LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. The display is also said to offer a 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera side, the Xiaomi 15 will reportedly include a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.3 inch sensor size.
The device will house a triple rear camera module, including a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor. The Xiaomi 15 is also noted to come with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. As mentioned, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
The new chipset is expected to be the first processor launched with NUVIA cores. The manufacturer is anticipated to include 2 NUVIA Phoenix I cores and 6 NUVIA Phoenix M cores in the processor.
The leaks also revealed that the phone will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers. The Xiaomi 15 is reported to be available in four different color options, including black and white. Additionally, it is said that the standard model will have a glass back panel but will opt for a leather design.
According to reports, the Xiaomi 15 will be sold at higher prices than its predecessor. This is also expected to be true for the Pro model.
