Recently, Xiaomi introduced its new smartphone, the Xiaomi 15, to the world. The phone, packed with impressive features, was one of the week’s most noteworthy launches. However, there were still questions regarding the device’s displays and who would be responsible for supplying them.
Now, Xiaomi’s Director of Public Relations, Wang Hua, has officially announced which company will supply the display for the new flagship. Here are the details…
Xiaomi 15’s display will be manufactured by TCL
Xiaomi official Wang Hua confirmed that TCL Huaxing will be the display supplier for the new smartphones. The TCL team has already started working to deliver high-quality products that match the device’s performance.
Hua’s statement makes it clear that Xiaomi will not rely on Tianma Display as a supporting company for display supply, at least initially. The executive also emphasized that the company’s new smartphones will feature a 6.36-inch OLED display.
The displays will be produced specifically for Xiaomi and will be equipped with M9 bright materials. Although relying on a single supplier for displays poses some risk, especially if there’s high demand from the Chinese market, this choice ensures that all devices have uniform performance, color accuracy, and brightness levels.
Although TCL is stepping in to take on the role of display provider, Wang Hua mentioned that Tianma Display would also participate in the supply chain in the future, guaranteeing that customers will have excellent display quality in new smartphones.
The Xiaomi 15 model, with its high-end features, comes with a 6.36-inch OLED display offering a 2670×1200 resolution, brightness levels ranging from 800 nits to 3200 nits, full-brightness DC for eye comfort, and much more.
So, what do you think of the Xiaomi 15?
