Xiaomi has started to offer the Android 14-based HyperOS update for many phones, starting from flagships to affordable models. The last device to receive the update in this context was the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Let us remind you that this model comes to the global market as Poco F5.
Android 14-based HyperOS update for Poco F5
The mid-range device, which was launched last year in China as Redmi Note 12 Turbo and recently came to the global market as Poco F5, is finally getting Android 14. This update also means that it will switch to HyperOS 1.0 instead of MIUI 14.
It should be noted that the update was first offered to Note 12 Turbo models in China. However, this indicates that it will be coming to the global market soon. The software update has the build number 1.0.2.0.UMRCNXM and is approximately 5.5 GB in size.
The HyperOS package is also limited to beta users for now. However, if no significant errors are found in the test, it is expected to be made more widely available in the coming days. After these tests, we think it can be offered for Poco F5 in the global market.
POCO F5 is a model that stands out in terms of price performance. Qualcomm’s mid-upper segment Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor is used as the processor of the phone. Chipset with 4nm architecture; 1x 2.91 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, 3x 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and 4x 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores.
The front panel features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. There is a hole-shaped selfie camera in the top center of the screen with a resolution of 16 Megapixels.
