Xiaomi has expanded its product portfolio in the wearable technology sector with a new smart glasses model. The product, launched under the name “Smart Audio Glasses”, draws attention with its functionality and price-performance balance. The smart glasses, which are on sale with a price tag of approximately $ 90, offer the basic audio features offered by Bluetooth headphones in the form of glasses.

The device uses open-ear technology instead of traditional in-ear headphones. Clear treble and balanced bass are offered through SLS0820 model ultrasonic speakers and a specially designed sound field. This system, which provides sound transmission without headphones, is supported by double-layer sound leakage protection and echo cancellation algorithm. This structure helps make calls more discreet and understandable, especially in crowded and noisy environments.
The product weighs only 40 grams. Despite its lightweight structure, it offers a curved design in the temple area and aims for comfort with flexible nose pads. The glasses allow frame change thanks to their removable hinge system. In addition, they are resistant to water splashes and protect against dust with their IP54 certification.
Battery performance is one of the prominent features of the device. Smart Audio Glasses provide up to 11 days of standby time and up to 10 hours of continuous playback. Charging is done via a special cable that connects with magnetic pins instead of USB-C. This creates a more compact solution in terms of design.
The glasses feature touch controls for user interaction. Playing, pausing music or answering incoming calls can be done via this surface. In addition, the device automatically stops the sound when the glasses are removed using built-in sensors.
Smart Audio Glasses are positioned as an alternative to more expensive smart glasses, which are direct competitors in terms of hardware and price.
