Xiaomi August 2024 Update: More Than Just Security
Xiaomi has become one of the first companies to roll out the new update this month. Initially released for the MIX Fold 4, the update has now been sent to five devices: the MIX Fold 4, Redmi K50 Ultra, Redmi Pad, Redmi Note 11, and the latest, Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The update package for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is 628MB in size and includes more than just security patches.
The update is available in three different regions: India, Europe, and globally, with respective sizes of 401MB, 505MB, and 628MB. According to the update page, it brings numerous optimizations, repairs, and a new feature for the lock screen.
The update is delivered with software versions OS1.0.11.0.UNAEUXM, OS1.0.10.0.UNAMIXM, and OS1.0.9.0.UNAINXM. Although Xiaomi has not provided specific details, Google’s announcements indicate that this update addresses 50 vulnerabilities, with 15 marked as high priority.
