Xiaomi has released its latest weekly bug report for its HyperOS operating system. This report acknowledges a number of bugs identified by testers and community members on Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices, lists resolved issues, and announces issues to be addressed in upcoming updates.
Xiaomi 15T Pro Update Issues Resolved
The first solution highlighted in the report concerns users using the OS 3.0.5.0.WOSEUXM beta version of the Xiaomi 15T Pro. Users reported being unable to download the update package. Xiaomi explained that the issue was caused by the update notification being sent before the download file was ready. The file is now accessible, and the update can be downloaded without issue.
Another important fix addresses an issue with the OS 3.0.4.0.WOSEUXM beta version of the Xiaomi 15T Pro. Users reported that update details were not visible in this version. Xiaomi confirmed that this was due to a permissions issue within the beta test group, and with the necessary permissions adjustment, the changelog can now be displayed correctly.
A third solution covering all HyperOS devices is also included in the report. The Google Phone app was repeatedly requesting permission for microphone permissions, even though users had already granted them. This issue was resolved with Google’s cloud-based update push. Xiaomi states that it has not received any new reports since this fix.
Xiaomi also listed the issues that are still being addressed and are expected to be resolved in future updates:
- Xiaomi Pad 7: Wi-Fi connection drops and abnormal user interface (UI) behavior in the Game Booster app are possible.
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra: There are issues such as no sound when connected to a Bluetooth device, and some users are experiencing random reboots and timer errors.
- Xiaomi 15: Random reboots are also affecting this device. Additionally, the camera in the Instagram app is not working properly.
- POCO F5: The volume panel may freeze intermittently.
- POCO X6 Pro 5G: A random shutdown issue has been reported.
Xiaomi stated that the issues on these devices are being addressed on priority and the relevant teams are working to fix these bugs with updates that will be released soon.
