Screenshots that are claimed to belong to Xiaomi’s new mobile operating system interface HyperOS 3 have leaked onto the internet. The images reveal that radical changes have been made to the user interface. HyperOS 3 seems to have turned to a simpler, more refined and more aesthetic line compared to previous versions, especially in terms of design language.
Xiaomi is here with the HyperOS 3 interface
The first striking detail in the published screenshots was the design change in the application icons. The new state of the icons is reminiscent of the icon structure in iOS 18. This similarity reveals Xiaomi’s visual effort to catch up with the aesthetic preferences of leading brands in the sector.
The search bar on the home screen has been removed, and updates to the indicators (such as clock, battery, signal) at the top of the screen are striking. The design concept generally resembles Apple’s transparent and glossy surface aesthetic known as “Liquid Glass”.
Xiaomi has not made an official statement yet. However, according to leaked information, HyperOS 3 is planned to be introduced in October 2025 and then gradually distributed. The distribution list of the new interface is quite extensive. The list, which covers a total of 96 models, includes 33 Xiaomi, 44 Redmi and 19 POCO devices.
It is stated that the system includes improvements not only in terms of visuals but also in terms of performance and user experience. Xiaomi has been working on creating a premium user feeling for a long time.
