Xiaomi Mijia uses air conduction technology to transmit sound
According to Xiaomi’s shares, the new glasses series stands out with six interchangeable frame options and customization options. Additionally, if you have vision impairments, you can adjust the device to your needs.
Although we have become accustomed to the company’s activities in many sectors, glasses that transmit sound can still be surprising. Especially the fact that we can now use glasses to have conversations, similar to scenes we see in spy movies, is intriguing.
As you can understand from the presentation, the Xiaomi Mijia comes as a sound-focused eyewear. It is claimed to provide a clear and immersive sound experience by using air conduction technology to transmit sound. Additionally, the device utilizes a fusion sound cavity structure algorithm to deliver cleaner sound transmission and prevents interruptions during phone calls with its dual sound interruption prevention technology.
When it comes to the battery, Xiaomi’s new eyewear promises up to 10 hours of music playback, 7 hours of phone calls, 24 hours of daily use, and up to 11 days of standby time. Weighing 37.7 grams, the glasses offer comfortable use with adjustable nose pads. The Xiaomi Mijia will be available in the Chinese market starting from March 27th with a price tag of $63.
