Xiaomi Mix Flip is the brand’s first clamshell foldable phone
At a big event in China today, Xiaomi announced many new products, including wearable technologies and smartphones. After a long time, the company also entered the foldable phone sector with a clamshell.
Coming as a competitor to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6, vivo X Flip, OPPO Find N3 Flip, and other models, Mix Flip looks quite ambitious.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for flagship models, the device was introduced with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage options. In addition, the phone with 3D vapor cooling on the cooling side hosts a 4,780mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
On the display side, Xiaomi Mix Flip, which manages to have the largest cover screen on the market with its 4.01-inch exterior screen, offers 1.5K resolution and up to 1,600 nits brightness. As for the interior display, a 6.5-inch panel with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,600 nits of brightness is used. As for screen protection, Xiaomi prefers its own Dragon Crystal Glass.
The device has a 50 megapixel main camera, a 50 megapixel 2x zoom telephoto camera, and a 16 megapixel selfie camera with Leica lens. Mix Flip, which runs on Android 14-based HyperOS operating system, comes in white, purple, and black color options.
