The First Xiaomi Models to Receive the HyperOS 2 Update Globally
According to a report shared by XiaomiTime, known for its proximity to the company, the HyperOS 2 interface will be rolled out gradually. In this scope, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 13T Pro will receive the HyperOS 2 patch globally in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The main distribution, however, is set to begin in the first quarter of 2025. During this period, models such as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the 14T series, the Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi 13T, POCO F6 / F6 Pro, POCO X6 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 series (4G, Pro 5G, Pro+ 5G), Redmi 13, and Redmi 12 will be able to experience the new update.
And this is just the beginning. It’s expected that even more models will receive the HyperOS 2 update globally in the future. Additionally, the latest interface is based on Android 15.
One of the standout features of HyperOS 2 is the revamped Control Center, designed to streamline daily tasks and offer more customization options. The update also includes AI-enhanced improvements for cameras, promising increased photo and video performance—especially impactful on Xiaomi’s high-end models.
