Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship tablet, the Pad 7 Ultra, is set to debut in China on May 22. Ahead of the official unveiling, the device has surfaced on Geekbench with the model number 25032RP42C, revealing impressive performance powered by Xiaomi’s self-developed XRing O1 processor. Despite operating at lower frequencies, the new chip—built on TSMC’s advanced 3nm process—manages to outperform several competitors.

According to the Geekbench results, the Pad 7 Ultra scored 2,715 in single-core and 8,849 in multi-core tests. These figures surpass those of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ and scored 2,192 and 7,327 respectively. The XRing O1 features a 10-core architecture paired with a Mali-G925 Immortalis GPU.

In this configuration, two performance cores run at 3.70GHz, while four others operate at 3.04GHz. For comparison, the Xiaomi 15S Pro, which also uses the XRing O1 but with higher clock speeds, reaches up to 3.90GHz and 3.40GHz on the same cores—suggesting about a 15% performance drop in the Pad 7 Ultra variant.

Beyond processing power, the Pad 7 Ultra also impresses with its hardware specs. The tablet includes 16GB of RAM, a 14-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and ultra-thin bezels measuring just 3.95mm. Powering the device is a 12,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Despite its size, the tablet weighs only 609 grams and has a thickness of just 5.1mm.

For comparison, the previous Pad 6 Pro was powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and featured an 11-inch IPS display with 1800 x 2880 resolution. The Pad 6S Pro 12.4, on the other hand, used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a 2032 x 3048 resolution panel. Positioned as the most advanced model in the series to date, the Pad 7 Ultra will also support stylus input and other productivity-focused features.
