Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Offers 16% More Accurate Heart Rate Monitoring
According to Xiaomi’s announcements, the new generation smart band, Xiaomi Smart Band 9, measures heart rate 16% more accurately compared to the previous version. The new band also features a metal frame and a special ceramic version. The Band 9 is available in pink, black, white, and blue colors.
The device offers up to 21 days of battery life, which drops to 9 days if used in Always on Display mode. Xiaomi has increased the options with 20 different vibration modes and has worked with Peking University to develop a more accurate heart rate sensor. Additionally, the NFC version of the band can be used as a car key in supported vehicles.
Xiaomi Buds 5 Introduced as Semi In-Ear Earphones
Xiaomi Buds 5 comes with a semi in-ear design that claims to be barely noticeable in your ears. The earphones offer 6.5 hours of listening time, extending to a total of 39 hours with the case.
The Buds 5 support Qualcomm’s aptX Lossless audio codec and are tuned by the Harman AudioEFX team. They come with an IP54 certification, making them resistant to rain and sweat.
